How long have you been in business?
BuyTheOtherGuys is the next chapter in the evolution its parent company SantechUSA; which has been around since 1989.

Are you an authorized reseller?
Yes, we're an authorized reseller for Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Asus, Fortinet, Sony, Seagate, Fujitsu and several other companies.

How do you get low prices for your shoppers?
We have long-standing relationships with several distributors across the United States. We're able to leverage our relationships to get great wholesale prices and then we pass the savings on to our customers. We're in the business of finding great deals.

What do you identify as a refurbished product?
We identify refurbished products as products that are not new but have gone through manufacture re-certification, our own certification - or both!

Where do you source your refurbished products from?
There are many differnet sources that we use for our inventory, such as: end-of-life inventory, leased inventory and over stocked inventory, but, never from recycled goods!

How do you qualify refurbished item?
We fully stand behind all products; including our refurbished products we carry!  Some vendors do not go through the trouble of testing/cleaning/repairing their inventory of used products; we go through a rigorous cycle of testing which is why all of our refurbished products carry a 90-Days warranty – unless otherwise stated.

Can you share some of your testing/qualification process?
Each product category carries a different process; and we have qualified techs for different commodaties that carry on product-specific testing.  To further expand, let's consider two of our flagship products:

• Printers: We fully breakdown each printer to test and rebuild any rollers, gears or parts not up to our standards.  Furthermore, we will replace fusers/drums or similar parts if needed.
• Hard Drives: Each drive is fully tested via, vendor-specific, tools for sector errors; low-level formatted (if applicable) and S.M.A.R.T. status verified.  We then randomly test drives by installing an Operating System as a quality assurance.

Do you offer extented warranties?
Yes; extended warranties can be purchased during the time of purchase or while within the initial warranty period.

What is your return policy?
